The Dix Hills Jewish Center Nursery Schools's basic philosophy is to provide a happy, 
safe, relaxed, accepting and purposeful atmosphere, where play is the medium of learning.
Your child will be free to explore and experiment in a stimulating and creative environment,
where he or she will grow intellectually, emotionally and socially.  Our nurturing and 
skillful and experienced teachers will foster curiosity, promote problem solving and develop
a sense of independence and self-confidence.

We offer classes for two, three, and four year old children, in addition to our Mommy and Me classes.
Our Nursery School office will be happy to provide you with our flexible schedule of classes.

Our enriched and dynamic curriculum includes language arts and reading readiness, math readiness,
science, art, music and movement, physical and social development and learning about our Jewish identity.

Our fun-filled and carefully planned after school workshops provide our children with creative
and enriched hands-on experiences.  We offer a variety of classes taught by our experienced staff.

We offer a dynamic eight week summer program, supervised by our nurturing staff, emphasizing
outdoor play and games, as well as arts and crafts, music drama, cooking, story
and readiness games, and our popular pony ride and petting zoo program.  Each
week will have a special theme with exciting events.

In addition to our outstanding and enriched curriculum, the Dix Hills Jewish Center Nursery School provides:
